Nov 14, 2014 15:56:20 The 2015 tournament in Chile takes place from June 11 to July 4 with the official website powered by Goal The official website of the 2015 Copa América in Chile is now live at www.ca2015.com and is your only destination for all the latest news on the world’s oldest international football tournament. Global superstars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, James Rodriguez and Alexis Sanchez will be in action next summer as 12 nations battle for glory in the 99th year of the competition. Hosts Chile have been seeded for the tournament along with heavyweights Argentina and Brazil, with the trio kept apart during the group phase. Defending champions Uruguay, who lifted the trophy for a record 15th time in Argentina in 2011, will be shorn of the services of star striker Luis Suarez as he serves the remainder of his nine-match ban from competitive international football. Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, Venezuela and Bolivia complete the 10 competing South American nations and will be joined next summer by regular invitees Mexico and debutants Jamaica.
