Stephen Keshi's men have arrived in the opponents backyard in search for maximum points to boost their AFCON 2015 qualification hopes
Nigeria arrived in Pointe Noire on Friday morning ahead of their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations crucial qualifying game against Congo on Saturday.
The African champions, who suffered a dissapointing 3-2 loss in their first game against Congo in Calabar, will be desperate for a win at the den of the Red Devils to redeem their image and edge closer to qualifying for next year's tournament.
The Super Eagles departed the country on Thursday night by 11pm via a chartered Discovery Airliner and arrived at about 2am on Friday morning at the Pointe Noire airport.
The Nigerian delegation includes 25 players, coaches, backroom staff, nine journalists and 30 supporters.
Also on board was the chairman Senate Committee on Sports, Ibrahim Gumba, member of Committee on Sports in the House of Representatives Mudashiru Oyetunde alongside the NFF president Amaju Pinnick.
After Thursday's regorious training session, Keshi appealed for the support and prayers of Nigerians ahead of their trip to Congo, while promising that his men will play like Champions.
“Tell Nigerians to just pray for the team and have the belief that we can deliver. We have worked hard enough and the result will show on Saturday”, he declared.
Nigeria are third with four points in Group A, while opponents Congo are second with seven points after four games played by both countries.
The other group game sees South Africa, who are table toppers with eight points, face bottom-placed Sudan with three points at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelsprint.
