Valencia, Real Madrid & Chelsea are Europe’s most lethal finishers

Goal teams up with Huawei to provide you with all the key statistics Europe’s five biggest leagues have to offer in 2014-15

Valencia, Real Madrid and Chelsea are Europe’s most lethal finishers, with the Mestalla side leading the   Huawei Team Ranking ahead of the Champions League holders and Jose Mourinho’s team. 

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo's men have converted 26.67 per cent of the chances they have created so far this season, leading to 24 goals in 12 La Liga games. 

Madrid, meanwhile, have been almost as accurate in front of goal with a chance conversion rate of 25.84%, with Cristiano Ronaldo and company having already found the net on an impressive 46 occasions.  

Chelsea occupy the third podium spot with a chance conversion of 21.90% as the Blues have dominated the   Premier League in the opening months of the 2014-15 campaign, scoring 30 goals in 12 games. 

Crystal Palace are the surprise package in the top five, having converted 19.77% of their opportunities this season following their lethal finishing in the 3-1 win over Liverpool at the weekend, while Sevilla sit fifth with a conversion rate of 19.59. 

Elsewhere, Roma (19.09%), Everton (18.80%), Paris Saint-Germain (18.79%), AC Milan (18.58%) and   Olympique Lyonnais (18.49%) complete the top 10. 

At the bottom end of the table, Atalanta's wayward finishing catches the eye, with the Serie A outfit finding   the net with just 5.15% of the chances they have created, resulting in a standing of 17th place in the league table. 

Hamburg's conversion rate of 5.36% is the lowest in Germany, while Granada (6.59%), Lille (7.09%) and Aston Villa (7.59%) are the worst finishers of Spain, France and England respectively.
