'Aguero one of world's top five players'

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is one of the best five players in the world, his manager Manuel Pellegrini said after his team's 4-1 Premier League win at Sunderland on Wednesday.
City fell 1-0 down to their recent bogey team before Argentine Aguero equalised and he struck again to complete the rout with his 14th league goal of the season.

"He is just 26 years old and he can improve every day," Pellegrini told reporters. I think he is in the five top players in the world. He is scoring but he is also playing well."
Pellegrini also hailed the performances of midfielders Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri after champions City consolidated their position in second place in the table, six points behind leaders Chelsea.

"Yaya played very well. Nasri after his injury gave a very high performance. All the team is having more trust but we must continue to do it," Pellegrini said.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet was philosophical after the defeat, only the north-east club's second in seven games against Manchester City.

"I can't have too many complaints - they were better than us in every aspect of the game," Poyet said.
"We started well, but then Aguero appears from nowhere and does something special.
"Sometimes you cannot complain too much - they were quicker and they were better technically."
Vincent Enyeama’s attempt to record his seventh clean sheet of the season was broken by Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani on Wednesday night as PSG and Lille settled for a 1-1 draw in their Ligue 1 clash.
Enyeama nonetheless put a spectacular performance which effectively denied PSG the away win they badly wanted as victory could have seen them go top.
As early as the 11th minute, Cavani had been knocking on the door of Lille’s defence and his first attempt was just whiskers away from goal.
Enyeama caved in the 29th minute after Lavezzi linked up well with Cavani yet again , picking out his partner in the Lille area with a nifty pass, and the striker made no mistake this time as he carefully tucked an effort into the bottom corner from close range.
Lille were saved the mystery of a home defeat when they got an equaliser off an own goal as PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu inexplicably fumbled a corner into his own net.
Desperate for maximum points, PSG began to create chances as the clock ticked down in the second half, however Enyeama produced saves after saves to deny Cavani a brace and Lucas in quick succession and maintain the stalemate.
The result leaves the French champions one point behind Marseille in the table after 16 matches while Lille are badly placed in 15th spot.
