The Gillette Brasil Global Tour will resume in 2015 with a rematch of the 1998 World Cup final at the Stade de France in Paris
Gillette Brasil Global Tour will resume next year when Brazil meet France in a friendly on March 26, 2015.The contest will be a rematch of the 1998 World Cup final, when France saw off the then reigning world champions 3-0 thanks to two goals from Zinedine Zidane.
The game will be Brazil coach Dunga’s seventh since succeeding Luiz Felipe Scolari following this year’s World Cup.
Dunga has led the Selecao to six consecutive victories since they suffered a July semi-final defeat to Germany.
It will be the first test of 2015 as the new coach prepares his side for Copa America and Chile and Conmebol qualification for World Cup 2018.
Following Tuesday’s confirmation of the fixture by CBF, Zidane has urged New York Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry to make the clash his final appearance for Les Bleus.
The former Arsenal striker, 37, has 123 caps for his country and looks set to retire from the game after his side’s quest for the MLS Cup ended last week.
