Official: Arsenal youngster joins Rangers on loan

Gedion Zelalem, regarded as one of the brightest talents in the Gunners academy, will link up with former Brentford boss and NextGen Series co-founder Mark Warburton at Ibrox
Arsenal have confirmed that youngster Gedion Zelalem has joined Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old, who has featured twice for the Gunners first team in competitive matches, will link up with former Brentford manager and NextGen Series co-founder Mark Warburton at Ibrox.

Arsene Wenger has included Zelalem - regarded as one of the brightest talents in the Arsenal academy - in his pre-season tour squads for the last two years to monitor his development more closely.

Zelalem becomes the third Premier League youngster to join Warburton's squad after Tottenham prospects Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa moved to Ibrox on temporary deals earlier this summer.
