In spite of last weekend's 3-2 defeat in Turin, the
Giallorossi supremo feels Rudi Garcia's men have what it takes to
dethrone the Bianconeri as the champions of Italy
Rudi Garcia's men were beaten 3-2 by the reigning Italian champions in Turin on Sunday, but Pallotta believes that the tight and controversial nature of the game merely underlined that the Giallorossi are now on the Bianconeri's level.
"For me, we are stronger than Juventus. Sunday's games was further proof of this, even if we eventually lost the game," Pallotta told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Juventus are a strong team, but we have players at the same level - if not better. And we are still without key players such as Davide Astori, Kevin Strootman and Daniele De Rossi, who are all decisive players.
"Why shouldn't we be confident? I never got the impression that we are inferior to Juventus during the game in Turin.
"We can win the Scudetto. We are very strong and have some great talents. We can only get better."
Roma currently sit second in Serie A with 15 points from six games, trailing leaders Juventus by three points.
