Arsenal had gone ahead on 13 minutes after a fine individual effort from Alexis Sanchez, but Hull hit back quickly when Mo Diame went through the defence and clipped the ball over Wojciech Szczesny.

Chelsea took the lead through Oscar's free kick on six minutes but they found themselves down to 10 men when Cesar Azpilicueta was shown a straight red card for a high challenge on Mile Jedinak on 40 minutes.
Palace were unable to take advantage, though, as Damien Delaney picked up a second yellow card shortly afterwards, and the Blues went 2-0 up through Cesc Fabregas on 51 minutes after he played a neat one-two with Oscar.
The Eagles did reduce the deficit late on through Fraizer Campbell's tap-in, but to no avail.

Spurs, who saw Federico Fazio dismissed, had earlier equalised through Christian Eriksen.
Southampton romped to a huge victory over Sunderland as their superb start to the season continued.
