Sudan take Eagles to artificial turf
The Super Eagles will now face the Lions of Jediane in Khartoum in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier
Sudan Football Association has moved Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles to the Municipal Stadium in Khartoum.

The game earlier slated for Omdurman will now see the African champions face their hosts on an artificial turf as they hope to re-launch their bid to qualify for the 2015 Afcon billed for Morocco.
With the development, the Eagles have moved their trainings to the Fifa Goal project ground which also has artificial turf to perfect their strategies.

“We have just been informed that the match will now be played on an artificial pitch and not natural one. That is why we are now training at the Fifa Goal Project,” said Eagles co-ordinator Emma Attah.
“It's a late change, but we have to rise up to the challenge. We will play even on a concrete floor to win this match,” he added.

The Eagles are scheduled to fly via a chartered flight late Thursday night ahead of the crunch Saturday game.
Nigeria are currently ranked third on the group log following their home to Congo before getting a 0-0 draw against Bafana Bafana in South Africa.
